A coastal retreat renovation for a home located in Bonbeach, a relaxed Bayside suburb of Melbourne, just steps from the shoreline and known for its calm beaches and breezy coastal lifestyle.
Scope of Work:
The homeowners required replacement of damaged balcony doors, repair of second-floor leaks and a redesign that would provide stronger protection against the elements without obstructing views. The poorly built timber deck needed upgrading with durable coastal-suitable tiles. The bathroom required a full modern renovation, and the entry and kitchen needed updated finishes to elevate the home’s overall presentation.

Structural balcony rebuild: Stripped back to the frame and reconstructed to ensure long-term durability and proper water management.
Enhanced weather protection: Reinforced design with new cladding for improved resilience in coastal conditions.
Wind-rated upgrades: Installation of an N4-rated RYLOCK door to meet high wind and coastal exposure requirements.
